Time for a break

Vasile Holerga - the president of HOH Romania

The time has come where we have to pause the work at the HOH building due to the fact we do not have enough money to finish the first floor.

Vasile (the president of HOH-Romania) and I visited the job site to contemplate and look over what was done so far. We are really thankful to God for what was accomplished. We pray that we will be able to continue. God knows when exactly we have to go on with the building and we are sure that, THEN He will provide.

So far many of you donated money towards our project and became part of what we want to do. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

We are praying that God will move the hearts of the people to give for the completion of the first floor of this building.

We need about EUR 50,000 (approx. $70,000) more to finish the first floor. Your help would be so much appreciated.

Getting closer..

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

We are getting closer with each little step in the building process.  Today the team was working on getting the ground compacted so that they can finish with pouring the concrete on the basement floor and all over the foundation.

We are at a point where we have to let the builder know if we can go on to the next level.  We praise the Lord that we have almost all of the money needed to go to the next level.

It is such a comfort for us to know that God is in control.
Please continue to support the project in prayer and any other ways that you can.

Back to work after the Easter holiday

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

The Easter holiday is over and the workers are back to work. As maybe many of you know in Romania we celebrate Easter a few weeks after the US. The construction continued until the day before Easter and then the workers had one week of holiday.

We want to thank you for your involvement and support! We are still a little short on the money to be able to go the the next level of the building but we know that all the money will come at the right moment! Thank you for your prayers!

Now because pictures replace a thousand words I will let you see a little more progress on the HOH transition center!

Pouring concrete in the foundation

We had some problems with this old concrete mixer that got stuck and the little tractor from the village tried it’s best to help but without any success. In the next picture we brought in the big horse power.

The BIG Romanian tractor that did the job.
