Moving on by faith

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

On the first of September the building company will start working on the brick inside walls that are required for the upper slab to be poured. Even if we do not have all the money to finish this level up to the slab Mr. Eugen, the builder, said he will try to invest the money to finish the first level until the winter starts. We only have to have faith that the money will come to pay him through the winter months.

Meanwhile, in the last few weeks the land for HoH was filled with activity.  After the English team came to invest money and effort in the fence to the right side of the property, we had to form a Romanian team to finish the job.  So we have been working on pouring the concrete and setting up the poles for the fence.

Also another little part of the project that was partially accomplished is the welding that was done in creating a hot house (green house) where we will try to plant vegetables. The money for the hot house was donated for this specific purpose.

It is easy to think about how far we have to go, but when we stop and think about all that has been accomplished we are so amazed at God’s provisions for this project.

I will let you enjoy the latest picture from the HoH job-site.

Some interior walls

After a few weeks of not posting anything I would like to show you a few pictures from the HOH job site. We had the privilege to have a team from England that came and built a fence on the HOH property. Even though it was hot (up to 35 degrees C – 95 F) the team did a great job building boxing for the concrete,  mixing concrete, welding, cutting and aligning steal polls, etc.

During all this time we had quite a few visitors stopping by to see the Horizon of Hope progress. It is really encouraging to see that people are interested in seeing, praying and helping the project.

Still our main need is to have the necessary finances so we can advance as much as possible until the colder weather arrives (end of September). Please continue to pray for Horizon of Hope transition center.
